We go to great lengths to make sure plans are as solid as they can be, every step of the way. Planning begins with a number of meetings so we can clearly understand everything you’d like to achieve. We then prepare a tailored plan and solution that will act as a roadmap for everyone to follow. Taking extra care at this stage may seem overly cautious, but not having a solid, pre-construction evaluation can lead to delays and cost overruns during the construction stage.
Value engineering is something we incorporate at CMP as a mandatory job function. It is simply a systematic approach to providing necessary functions of a project at the best price, but without sacrificing quality. If changes do arise, we have the experience to avoid added expenses by quickly spotting inconsistencies from consultants’ drawings and then rectifying them. By doing this, there is less site instructions(SI) issued from consultants and sub-trades are more clear on how to build according to the plans and specifications. Having less Requests for information (RFI) from sub-trades to the consultants during construction stage will reduce wait time and expedite the job speed.
If clients requested, we are able to provide updated construction cost estimates and an adjusted construction schedule. We could also coordinate with authorities to ensure permits are processed promptly.
